Sick Day

I'm sick today.

It's been a while since I've been sick enough to stay in bed.

I dragged myself out for a shower around noon, ate a little something, and climbed right back in.

Motherhood should be cancelled when you're sick.

Carolyn is running around, slamming into things.

Then she runs back into my room proffering whatever-body-part-she-just-hurt for a kiss to make it better while screaming bloody murder.

Thank goodness for TVs, computers, and the fact that Husband left his iPad home from work to entertain her or I might have to lock her out on the patio so I can have three seconds of peace and quiet.
