1. I woke up at 5am on Saturday to throw up. Then I was up Sunday morning from 12-4:30am throwing up. All I could think was, "Oh, come on, body! I haven't even eaten anything! Why are you being so mean to me?" Anyway, I missed church again. What am I going to do??
2. I think my aversion to meat is finally over. Husband made hamburgers and I actually got to eat one. It might have been the greatest moment of my recent life. It didn't hurt anything that we also fried some french fries and made some chipotle mayonnaise to go with them. The fries really are just a vessel to get the sauce into your mouth.
3. Saturday was my sister's 36th birthday. Mom made her a princess cake and then regretted taking the entire thing up to my sister's house because she needed some. I can't judge her - because I totally get where she's coming from. Although mostly the only thing I need is tomato juice.
4. My latest aversion is to anything sweet. It's like I can smell the sugar from miles and miles away. This is an especially dirty trick since Cadbury Mini-Eggs are finally out for Easter and I can't touch them with a 20-foot pole. BLECH.
5. I'm rooting for the cowboys on Amazing Race. Husband thinks it's hysterical that anytime they show them on the screen, they also play the theme song from one of John Wayne's movies. They're funny to me because they don't really seem worried about anything - they're not in a hurry to get anywhere, nothing really ruffles them. And, the odds on them winning at the beginning of the show were 50:1. We root for the underdogs down to our house.
6. Four days until the massage test. Still feeling HIGHLY uneasy.
7. There's a tummy toucher at work. She feels like she has to rub my belly everyday while asking how the baby is. Isn't there anyway she could ask me how the baby is without touching me?? I mean, I had a SERIOUS tummy touching aversion before I ever got pregnant and now it's just intensified. I might feel different when I get visibly pregnant or when other people can feel the baby kicking, but I seriously doubt it. Hands off, lady.
8. And speaking of the baby kicking, isn't it time for me to be feeling it pretty regularly? I mean, I think I feel it sometimes but most of the time I think I might be making it up, too. Although, Husband did say that The Lentil kicked him in the back the other night while he was sleeping. I'm pretty sure it was me doing the kicking, but he swears it came from my tummy.
9. It's spring break here on campus. I still have to be at work, which is highly unfair. I am, however, very happy with the lighter traffic. I'm also thankful that the snapdragons on campus are in full bloom. I love snapdragons.

I wouldn't say the kicking should be "regular" by now. I feel it most when I am sitting or laying still. There are times when I eat certain things that about 20 minutes later I feel her moving all around. It is crazy but Garon has yet to feel the baby kick. I hope you feel better soon!
Just for the record, I have never really been into princess things. In fact, I don't know of anyone in my generation that ever was. The princesses of today must be a disney product. Anyway, I feel it is my duty to educate my boys that there is more to people's lives than just dump trucks, tractors, dinosaurs and swords. Ian came home from grandma's house the day before my birthday and said "mom, i want to tell you what a beautiful cake you have!". Maybe now he really believes I am a princess, and not just a plain old "lady".
