I appreciate correct grammar. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to admit that it has only recently been pointed out to me that I also make grammatical mistakes. No one ever corrected me. Apparently I have no real friends because friends don't let friends sound uneducated...
Anyway, I've decided to include this super fun grammar test. Answers will be revealed later. You may submit your answers in the comment box. Prizes will be awarded.

I want to stick with my original answer for #1 which was A. Thanks. :)
Here are the official answers:
1-a, 2-b, 3-b, 4-a, 5-b, 6-b, 7-a, 8-a, 9-b, 10-a, 11-b, 12-b, 13-a, 14-b, 15-a, 16-b, 17-a, 18-b, 19-b, 20-a, 21-b, 22-b, 23-a, 24-b, 25-a, 26-b, 27-b, 28-a, 29-b, 30-a.
I got five wrong. That's an 83%. I guess I'm happy because it is still a B, but what the heck??
I did the quiz and am glad I didn't post my answers. Missed a few more than I thought I would. How mbearussing.
Okay, Erin, I missed out on this quiz, but I have to admit I love grammar -- I am a court reporter after all. There are two peeves that people do to butcher our language (actually there are many more, but I will save that for later)-- the first one is its and it's. Come on, people, it is very simple. If you can replace "it's" with "it is" then you've got it right, if not, use "its." I know "its" shows possession and you want to be all proper and use an apostrophe, but I'm telling you now DON'T DO IT!!
The second one is when people say something like, "Come have dinner with Jeff and I" thinking they are masters of the English language. Again, the test is simple -- mentally block out the "Jeff and" and then reread the sentence "Come have dinner with I" -- wrong.
Now, when it comes to blogs and comments on blogs, I give a pass (for the most part) because... well, who wants to have someone correcting your grammar on a blog?
