This little dude is five months old. Looking back, the time has flown. But some days are so long. I guess that's just the way it is.
At five months:
*Tater is sleeping from roughly 9pm-3:30am. Then, he wants to stay awake and party a little bit. Around 5, he'll go back to sleep and wakes up again at 7. His mother is exhausted and wondering when he'll start sleeping through the night.
*His first tooth popped through his gums yesterday. The second should be out shortly. It's the first and only time where I've thought that a baby was teething that they actually were teething. I'm kind of proud of myself.
*He is rolling back and forth and scooching around. Scooching is a word. Husband keeps saying that he'll be crawling any day. I think he'll be like Carolyn and army crawl. But probably not for at least another month. He's a much happier baby now that he can move a little bit - he has been kind of a crying baby up until now.
*I've been trying to put him on a schedule and failing miserably. He won't nap the way I want him to and instead wants to sleep for 30 minutes at a time roughly every 1.5 hours. It drives me bloody crazy. Just go to sleep!
*The very best news is that he seems to have gotten over his pukiness. Up until he was about 4 months old, he puked a lot. I thought he would surpass Carolyn - and that's saying something. I assume that my milk flow was too fast but that he's adjusted to it now....hardly pukes at all. It's outstanding.
