PLEASE Don't Say It Right!

I'm generally a huge proponent of helping kids to speak correctly.

Mostly because that way, I never have to wonder or guess what they're saying, I can just understand.

Because let's be honest, I s-u-c-k at deciphering baby talk.

However, there are certain words I never want Carolyn to learn to say.

Like ever.

Here are some of my faves:

cant-a-pillar - caterpillar
coppa-roach - cockroach
ob-va-mousse-ly - obviously
diamond board - diving board
torty-ee-ya pizza - quesadilla

After a doctor's appointment today, she said, "Mama, I'd like you to call daddy to inform him that I beed good."

I know, right?! I have a niece who used to say things so hilariously... who now says them correctly because "when [she] was a little kid [she] didn't know how to talk right."
Like:
har-mah-ca-ca meant harmonica
hozzible meant hospital
Hilarious stuff that they, eventually, grow out of! :(
