Who I Am and What I Wish

*Any time anyone says to me, "Oh, I just eat and eat and eat and I never gain a pound.", I just want to punch them right in the face.

*If I could change anything about myself it would be how much I sweat.  I sweat so much I put most men to shame.  It's not dainty.  Or girly.

*I would also change my beard and my gut.

*I wish time would stand still and Carolyn would stay this age forever.  Don't get me wrong, she has her days, but for the most part, she cracks me up.

*Does anyone else have a very favorite t-shirt?  I have one that I love.  I probably wear it 2-3 times a week.  Or whenever it's on top of the clean laundry pile.  It's so soft and it doesn't stick to my belly.  The bad thing about it is that it's a Zumba t-shirt.  I'm afraid people judge me for wearing work out clothes while I'm not working out.

*  I am apparently the only girl on the planet who likes to wear a bra.  If I'm awake, I have one on.  I don't understand people who don't put one on unless they "have to".

*Another thing I don't understand: People who wear their pajamas all day.  I have to get up and get dressed (and usually showered) first thing.  Even when I'm sick, I like to be dressed in normal clothes.  Unless I'm really sick.  Then I just change to different pajamas.  But either way, showering and brushing my teeth always makes me feel just a little bit better.

*I wish I had another room in the house.  Somewhere that I could set up my massage table and leave it up.  And maybe the room could double as a craft/sewing room.  Because, you know, I'm totally into that now.

*My favorite thing Carolyn says, is, "Do you want to watch Incredibles or something?"

*I don't want my kid to grow up in the city.

*I don't want my kid to grow up without animals around.

*I miss traveling.  Like a lot.

OUCH, Erin! Were you talking about me because I pretty much live in pajamas... sans bra, of course. And, I'm pretty sure the last time you came over to the house I had to quick throw on some clothes because I was literally sitting on my couch in my skivvies, which would be my number one mode of attire. More power to you for being showered and ready to go all the time. But, as for me, I'd prefer to not have my kids' bodily fluids and such smeared across my best grocery-getting yoga pants. And, with or without a bra, my boobs always feel kinda floppy and nasty. In fact, they haven't felt normal since high school... Another unfortunate side effect of child-rearing.

I am with you on these...
*I feel so nasty when I don't get showered and dressed in the morning. I feel like I accomplish nothing in my pjs.
*I can't stand going without a bra.
*I wish I could freeze my kids at this age, but not in the middle of a tantrum.

I had to laugh at #1. Those people, unless they are male, are full of crap if they are over the age of 25. And the people who say it over the age of 25 are actually working out 1-2 hours daily (I am talking serious mileage or running stairs at the gym). I've tried it- while running serious mileage.- and let me tell you, you can eat as much as you want so long as your sugar intake is practically non-existent. Like you can eat a teenage boy portion of chicken (no fat marinade), sweet potato (no butter), steamed carrots (no butter) and like a salad with olive oil and vinegar- in whatever quantities you feel like eating and you probably won't gain much (so long as you are excessively exercising). But anything else? No way.

I also had to laugh at #3- I would change my seriously fuzzy lambchops. It is ridiculous. Ad when I am pregnant they just like grow and grow and grow. I have to trim them because they get to be like an inch long. You can't wax them- it looks funny. Because if you have lamb chops, then you have a fuzzy face. My face is so fuzzy. I am like a peach fuzz bear.

I also can't go long sans bra- these ladies need some support. God didn't bless me with DDs pregnant to let em flop around...or Cs unpregnant to just hang all out. I'm the double sport bra lady at the running trail. I don't even like them bouncing. If breast reduction surgery was affordable I would do it in a heartbeat. A nice manageable A sounds pretty good to me.
