Naked as a Jaybird

Some friends brought over lunch today straight after church.

We ate quickly and then I put Carolyn to bed right before our friends left.

I heard her messing around in her room but didn't think anything of it - it generally takes her about 15 minutes to calm down and go to sleep.

Then, as our friends were leaving, there she was...

Up under her curtains and blinds...

Standing on her window sill...

Naked as a jaybird.


As a bonus, best quote of the day from church was from an 8-year-old girl who said, "I'm so thankful for my teachers who help me with my goal of going to heaven."

Carolyn was also put in timeout during nursery for stealing toys and kicking someone.  I tried to talk to her about it after church was over and all she said was, "Carolyn was naughty.  Naughty.  NAUGHTY!"  Not sure I got through to her.

And, a conversation with Carolyn during sacrament meeting:

Me:  Carolyn, during the sacrament we have to be quiet and think about Jesus.
Carolyn:  Think about Jesus.  See Jesus.  And Uncle Jared.  Uncle Jared looks good.
Me:  Yeah.  Carolyn, is Jesus your brother?
Carolyn:  No, Jesus is my birthday present.
