Carolyn With the Blocks

Carolyn received several lovely gifts for her birthday last week.  She's been playing with her blocks, earrings, and sidewalk chalk pretty much non-stop.

My sister sent a set of stringing blocks, which Carolyn wanted absolutely nothing to do with.

At least until I showed her how to put them on the string.

 

She sat still for nearly 20 minutes putting every, last one of those blocks on the string.

I'm pretty sure the last time she held still at anything for that long was when she was five months old and unable to crawl.

 

 

Needless to say, she's a fan.

We had some friends over Saturday afternoon and she made one of them sit and string blocks with her for a long time.
