*Husband did not end up having knee surgery today.
*It looks like he won't have to.
*Hallelujah.
*The orthopaedic doctor came and drew an additional 60 cc's of fluid out of Husband's knee.
*It looked like Mt. Dew. Just sayin'.
*He did have to have his wound vac changed while he was conscious.
*It was bad.
*Husband said it felt like they were ripping the bone out of his leg.
*But, the nurse told me the wound looks good.
*The surgeon was talking about going in and cleaning it out again.
*Someone also mentioned "preliminary closure" and "Monday" in the same sentence.
*I don't know what that means, but it sounds like a good thing.
*Husband got up and made a lap around the floor today.
*We're not sure what's going to happen tomorrow.
*Someone called Carolyn a "dream child" today.
*I'm going to go ahead and take all of the credit for her dreaminess.
*We came home to a sparkling clean home this evening thanks to the Petersen Fam.
*Like even the fridge was clean.
*I hate cleaning the fridge.
*Wait, I hate cleaning period.
*So, I was pretty embarrassed they'd seen my house like that.
*I told Shannon she should look into a career as a house cleaner.
*I'm pretty sure she's seriously considering my opinion.
*Safelite is coming to our house tomorrow to repair the windshield.
As a side note here, I'd just like to inform all hospital employees that I totally shower everyday. Just because I look so bad doesn't mean I smell bad, too. At least most of the time I don't.

I heard you got to hear the "tic-toc" joke...thanks for laughing. My dad said it was a big hit! I can only imagine... I asked him to give me updates but said he couldn't cause of HIPPA....so I said, I'll just check Erin's blog and you have AWESOME updates! :) He did say that you guys are the best and, "Nick and Erin are just great, great people." Glad to hear things are looking up!
