The elevator at the hospital is clearly the awesomest place on the entire planet.
When I boarded last night to go home, there was a lady in there singing her praises to The Lord.
Oh, blessed, holy, Jesus...
We praise thee...
And we give all the credit to thee, Jesus, our Lo-ooo-ooo-rrrrrr-d...
But, that wasn't even the best part.
The best part was that the man across the elevator was singing back up.
He was doing all the oooo's and the la-la-la's.
And for good measure, he was throwing in a few quiet hallelujahs.
I thought the two knew each other, but as they stepped off, the lady turned to the man and said, "So lovely to meet a true admirer of Jesus on the elevator."
Indeed.
Lovely for them, lucky for me.

That is truely amazing. Can you feel my sarcasm??
So we have never met, but I know your husband (he use to tease me about the liquor bottles on the side of the road when we would clean the highway in Silsbee) but I just wanted to say I am praying for you guys and know how scary this must be for all of you. I was just telling my brother Matt (McCallon) that I wanted to hug you because you are under SO much stress as it is, and then the whole windshield thing happened...we have had a hellish year ourselves medically speaking so my heart went out to you. Anyway...we are keeping you guys in our thoughts and prayers! Hugs!
