1. Carolyn is officially a bruiser. We've had suspicions for a couple of months, but she showed her true colors on Sunday. She literally pushed another little girl to the floor to steal her bedazzled pink purse. She then proceeded to mark her territory with slobber and vomit.
2. Is there any reason why Carolyn thinks everything belongs in her mouth? Our new, favorite bonding moment with her is every 30 minutes when we have to sweep her mouth for foreign objects. It makes her scream every time. Apparently she wants to continue to chew on the rocks she randomly finds around the house and outside on the patio.
3. I made a French silk pie yesterday. It was my first try. We ate some of it last night and I didn't think it was very good. However, today, it's much, much better. Maybe even good enough to go into the recipe file on the computer.
4. Does anyone know where I can buy those reusable hand warmers? You know, the ones where you click the little silver disc in it and it turns hot? I've been to all the outdoor stores in the area and they all looked at me like I'm crazy. Of course, it is 80 degrees outside.
5. I finally got the courage to climb the rickety ladder to the attic to put away Carolyn's littlest clothes. I didn't have the forethought to close the door to the bedroom first, though, so Carolyn wouldn't try to get out of the room and try for the stairs. I've never moved so fast in my entire life.
6. Harry Potter comes out on DVD this week!! Harry Potter party at our house on Friday night. The menu includes lasagna and spinach salad.
7. I need to know what stores in the area double and triple coupons. I have all of these Similac coupons that I want to use but some of them are too small to really be worth making the trip to the store that's offering them.
8. I'm praying Chris Jericho gets voted off Dancing With the Stars ASAP. Husband and I have a bet on this season to keep it interesting (mostly because the stars themselves are like D listers). I'm going to go ahead and mention that I was tricked into the bet and even worse, was tricked into picking Kirstie Alley as my star. Our stars don't have to win the entire season, they just have to last longer than the other's pick.
9. I sooooo want to go to the beach. I'm going to go down to Academy and buy one of those awning things to set up over my cooler full of food and cold drinks.
10. I was able to take a two hour nap yesterday afternoon. I haven't done that in months and months. It was glorious.

Kroger's doubles and triples. Market Basket used to but I am not sure if they still do.
Just google "Hot Hands" Hand Warmers. Apparently, you can get them in the hunting section of Walmart....but maybe not in TX, who knows? At least you could order them online.
Oh, and the beach sounds good. It's still only 40 degrees here. January was nicer by far than March or April.
I saw a sign on the Market Baskets in Mid-County that said they double coupons. So surely the ones in Beaumont do too. Can I come to the beach with you?
I was so excited to go to the beach last weekend. Too bad the group I was with thinks that Galveston is for shopping and walking....we went to the beach for all of 5 minutes before we left to come back home. LAME!
I'm just glad I didn't show up in a swim suit...I would have been the only one. What are people thinking?
So I'm still waiting for my inaugural beach trip 2011.
