Georgetown Makes Me Vomit

WARNING:  Don't read this is you've got a weak stomach, are easily grossed out, or are sick and tired of me complaining about vomiting.  Ok?

1.  Georgetown's game last night made me vomit.  Literally.  They wrecked my bracket.  In the middle of the game, I had to run to the bathroom.  I thought my stomach had the situation handled so I moved to the sink to wash my hands.  Then it happened.  All over the sink, mirror, vanity, and carpet.  That's not the worst of it.  The sink wouldn't drain.  I had to bail it out into the toilet.  It was easily one of the grossest things I've done in my entire life.  Worse than stepping in dog poop and other stuff that I won't mention here.  So there you have it.

2.  Beside Georgetown, a bunch of my other teams lost as well.  I guess that's why they call it March Madness.  And Erin Madness.

3. The Lentil is a HUGE fan of the NCAA tournament.  While I was watching the BYU game yesterday (at work - thank you CBS.com), she couldn't hold still.  I'm pretty sure she was jumping up and down in my uterus.  Either that or turning cartwheels.  I seriously doubt she'll have the same reaction to the Texas A&M game today.  Looks like we can go ahead and chalk up the sports team win to the mother on this one.

4.  I'm seriously hoping BYU will develop an inside game before playing Kansas State tomorrow.  Maybe they can call someone out of the crowd to help them out.

5.  I've said it before and I'll say it again:  I'm sooooooooo tired of vomiting.  Yesterday, Husband said, "Baby, I think you need to embrace being pregnant."  I know he meant well, but I'm not going to lie, it made me feel kind of violent toward him. I almost started crying. Believe me, if the vomiting would stop, I'd wrap my arms so far around this pregnancy, you wouldn't be able to pry it from my cold, dead hands.

We are both struggling with our brackets. Me even more than you. What is up with that? I am so not used to being in last place, and I know you aren't either.

And you are not alone in the not enjoying pregnancy thing. I always want to smack the people who say they LOVE being pregnant.

People who say they love being pregnant are stupid or have never felt any of the intense pain and suffering most of us feel. And they've never vomited either. I vomited so much I nearly popped a blood vessel in my eye. :) at least you know Kristen and I understand, even if it doesn't make you feel better.

A few times at the beginning of being pregnant my husband made the comment that maybe being sick was just all in my head...

Just stick with the Zofran...and in 17ish weeks the baby will be here, and you will be SOOOO happy that you don't feel sick any more!!!
