1. I'm so happy I went to college. And paid all that money. Because now I'm totally qualified for all kinds of jobs - like making coffee. Today I made coffee and washed cups. Lots of cups. That's pretty much all I've done all day long. It's always just hysterical to me that they ask the Mormon to make the coffee.
2. And speaking of all day long, I've successfully wasted away five hours of my work day already. Can I get a woot, woot?!
3. I've been blogging for a long time. Like almost five years. However, today, I switched to the new blogger post format and I can't figure anything out. Where on earth is the spell check? I thought they said this would be bigger and better. I am however, pretty fired up about the new way you insert pictures.
4. They were predicting upwards of 8 inches of rain for this area today - like flash flood warnings and everything. The only thing we've gotten is wind. Lots and lots of wind. It's kind of made my day more exciting because it's funny to watch people try to open the door and get inside without slamming themselves in it.
5. And as long as I'm talking about the weather, I'm looking into a career in meteorology. Because you have a 50/50 shot of being right. Either it does rain or it doesn't. I don't think being right 50% of the time works in any other industry. Except maybe medicine. And at the McDonald's on Phelan Street.
6. My pants and my fingernails match today. Both are a lovely shade of magenta. I know! I totally own magenta pants. Ok, so not pants so much as scrub bottoms I'm trying to use as dress pants.
7. The State of Texas offers two options for your retirement plan - the state plan or an individual plan called an ORP. In order to cash in on the state plan, you have to stay with a state agency for five years. Since I don't see myself doing that, I opted for the ORP. Except they failed to tell me that my "job category" doesn't qualify for an ORP and that I am automatically forced into the state retirement plan. Umm...so wait...you can force me to put money I will never see again into a state account? That's like over 6% of my check every month. That's almost like paying tithing twice - except one goes to God and the other goes to Governor Rick Perry. Is that legal?
8. I have no Halloween plans. I'm a little sad about it. Because I've always loved Halloween. I haven't even pulled out my decorations. They're still under the stairs - right underneath my Christmas decorations.
9. The Director keeps these little caramel candies in his office. I keep making excuses to go in there so I can get more.
10. Yesterday Husband brought me a berry-lemonade slush from Sonic. It was one of the best treats I've ever had.

I keep hearing about this new Blogger editor, but I have no idea where to even find it. I've also read that it doesn't have spell check at all.
Kristina - it's under the settings on at blogger - at the very bottom of the page.
So I always had to make the coffee at the Salon I worked in, and I never even knew how to make it. They were cheap and just bought a big bag and kept a Tupperware of it in the cupboard, so there were no directions at all. I totally guessed every time. They either liked it or were too lazy to make their own so they put up with it.
