My new favorite commercial on the radio starts out like this, "Have you ever dreamed of becoming a federal corrections officer? Because now's your chance..."
I giggle mostly because honestly, who on earth dreams of being a prison guard?
A police officer, maybe.
But a prison guard?
I can't imagine hearing that commercial and thinking, "OH! ME! I WANT TO HANG OUT WITH FELONS DAILY! I WANT TO RISK GETTING SHANKED! AND I WILL GET TO FINALLY LEARN HOW TO USE A BILLY CLUB PROPERLY! MY FONDEST DREAM REALIZED AT LONG LAST!"
