Please, oh, please, oh, please, won't someone give me something to do?
Week five. At Lamar.
I still don't know anything. I have zero job assignments.
People walk in, people walk out. I don't know them. I don't know what they want.
And I sit. Right here.
Everyone here is chicken-with-their-head-cut-off busy.
Except me.
All I do is make copies. Like three copies everyday.
Do you not trust me?
Do you think I'm incapable?
Because I can understand stuff.
And I'm confident I can learn anything.
I want to work.
But I'm starting to feel like you don't need me to be here. Like I'm in the way.
And I don't like that.
Not even a little bit.

Is it better than the doc's office? Good luck.
YES, it's better. Mostly because even though I have nothing to do, everyone pretty much leaves me alone. That means no one is bossing me around and I love not being bossed around.
If it's any comfort, the people at the school don't remember what they hired you to do, so they just pretend you're doing it. They're funny that way.
maybe you should tell your boss that you're all caught up with your work, and ask for another project. maybe he thinks your busy.
I would, but my boss is never here. Literally. Never. I haven't seen him in over a week.
in that case, i'll send you some of our banking stubs, and i'd like you to categorize all the expenses and put them in a spreadsheet.
Oh, I'm good at spreadsheets. I'll make them pretty colors and everything. Believe me, I have the time.
