Is it wrong to want to kill people at church?
I mean, not literally kill, but maybe just hurt them a little bit. And by a little bit, I mean enough to make them want to behave because they know if they don't, there's going to be trouble and it's going to be taken-out-on-your-hide-without-mercy.
That's how I felt today.
It was one of those days where I'd HAD ENOUGH.
I gave the three-year-old three strikes-you're-out.
They were pretty lenient strikes.
Like I mean, I don't care if they can't be quiet or stay in their chair the whole time. I realize they're only three.
But I do care when they can't keep their hands to themselves, don't listen, and continuously disrupt the entire class.
Every week.
Without fail.
I've tried everything.
Loving. Threatening. Separating. Taking out. Promising rewards. Ignoring.
At least one of those works on every single kid.
Except this one.
This is round two with this same child. I also had him in nursery for an entire year. If there's a round three, I'm going to be down for the count before it even starts.
