As Queen Princess of The Entire World I've just ordered my blog to be made into a book (or three books...that's what happens when you feel like you have to write everything that's every happened to you). I'm not going to lie, it was kind of expensive. However, it's so fun because it's like having three yearbooks that are all about you. We all know how much I love me!
.
The great thing about it is that all of my posts plus all of my pictures are included. Like a journal and a scrapbook combined. And I didn't have to fight against my non-creative nature to make what almost always turn out to be non-symmetrical picture backgrounds or spend money on pretty paper that I actually have no idea how to use!
.
I'm thrilled. Let's blogging.

hey, how do you get around the video posts? I have been considering printing my blog too, for awhile now, but am not exactly sure how it all turns out. What site did you use? Are you happy, I mean really happy with the results. Please respond.

(alright, Nevada, but it doesn't sound as good.)
You can either delete the video posts or leave them in. If you leave them in, the post will just be blank (or include any typing you've done). You can edit the entire book on the site.
I used SharedBook.com. I wish I had been smarter about all the editing stuff - I figured it out after I'd already ordered the books. The only thing that I'm not happy about is the size of the pictures in the posts. They're small but that's one of the things you can edit.
Otherwise, I'm completely happy - even though they are pretty pricey.
I am working on one for our family...I am still in 2007 so it's slow going, but I am way excited!
give it to me straight - how much was it?
It increases in price by how many pages you get printed. Mine was $70 with about 170 pages. There are probably cheaper places out there, but I was just SOOOO excited that I didn't do any price comparission. Typical me.
$70 for 170 pages? That's a steal really when you think about how much a 170-page scrapbook would cost when you add up all the materials.
Just ask Casandra ... owner of 5,213 pairs of scissors.
I figured that it wasn't too bad - just like you said, scrapbooking can be expensive. Plus, I always have a whole lot of anxiety when I put together scrapbooks. Mostly because I suck at it.
I'm totally planning on doing this! I hadn't heard of sharedbook.com only the other one called Blurb. I will have to compare prices i guess!
wow. i can't wait to go visit casandra's scissor museum. luckily, i can never upload videos. if i ever print mine, i won't have to worry about it.
Ladies, ladies, let's leave my scissors out of this.
Dear Erin,
I hate that I have to log in to your blog. What makes me hate it more is that I have typed a passwork and stuff and then you haven't updated anything. Just so you know. MK
Pardon me, MissyK. I know that logging in sucks. I have to log in to my own blog. It feels like oppression. As soon as I get a new job I'll take the private setting off. And, I haven't updated anything because I've been sick...all better now, though.
