Dreaming...About Steve Sarkisian

1. Last night I had a dream that I was put in a Nazi camp for Mormons. It was just like American Gladiators except there were real axes and swords. I was surprisingly agile and athletic and gained favor with the runners of the camp. In the end Steve Sarkisian rescued me but only after I told him how much I liked him in college, which was a lie, but who really cares since it got me out of the Nazi camp?

2. I am finally getting over my sinus infection. It's been five miserable days of me sleeping on the couch, bothering Husband, using countless Kleenexes, and wish, wish, wishing that my ears would pop.

3. The good news about the sinus infection is that having a stuffy nose and no sense of smell came in super handy when I came in contact with a man with a clogged catheter. No one else could handle it and for once, I was a champion.

4. I'm studying for my third kinesiology test for massage school. So far I've found three wrong answers in the study guide. Not that it matters because I'm sure once we get there, the test will be an open book, open note, didn't-even-need-to-study kind of test. This class is a joke. I feel so stupid when the other massage therapist at church asks me questions or tells me about the school she went to. Here I am, six weeks from being done and I honestly have no idea what's going on.

5. I can't figure out how so many kids got to church yesterday when it seems there were no adults to be seen. Husband manned up to help me out with the Sunbeams - which in the end turned out to be my Sunbeam class, half of the other Sunbeam class, and the four-year-olds as well. It went surprisingly well despite the fact that there were a select few whom I wanted to handcuff to their chairs. Thank goodness for Play-Do.

6. I wonder what makes people think that since I work at a doctor's office, I know where other doctors are located, their phone numbers, their specialties, and whether or not they will call in prescriptions.

7. There's just been a job posted that I REALLY want - the kind of job I was thinking of when I started massage therapy school. The job is working as a chiropractic assistant about two blocks from my house. The only problem? I'm not really licensed yet. And I won't be for 4-5 more months. By then the job will be gone.

8. It's approximately 963 degrees outside. I'm going to have to put the oven mits back in my car so I can touch the steering wheel.

it hasn't been above 65 degrees here for like 3 weeks. and - believe it or not - it has rained every day. i'm not complaining - but it needs to warm up a little or our dwarf corn will never grow.

If you were down here, your dwarf corn would be fried. I guess there's no happy medium.
