Wasting Time

I'm really supposed to be studying. But I don't want to. So instead, I've been...

Making these super attractive, not to mention super colorful study aides. Since starting school again, I've been single handedly supporting the colored index card industry. I also used my glue stick that I used to use while scrapbooking. I no longer scrapbook for two reasons: I'm really bad at it and I now have a digital camera. I'm not going to lie, I've missed the glue stick...

Building a Stromboli, thanks to a recipe from my friend, Kirk. This is the second attempt. My first attempt had a small blow out at one end...

What a great use of my time...

Looks like a good use of your time to me! I love Arrested Development AND bread with a little butter and a lot of honey is like heaven to me.

I'm also curious, what's in the stromboli? Looks delish.

Hey lady. I recently started making bread myself. Easiest recipe in the word and its all baked and done in one hour. :] I'm not all about that kneading and waiting stuff. Your food and your art does look amazing, of course.

The stromboli is just pepperoni, cheese, and olives. We will be branching out next time...

Wow. Your bread looks amazing, dear. I'm impressed! Good luck on the test this week.

Strombolli looks delish! What is that and how do I get a hold of the recipe?

Also, everytime I try to bake bread, they're harder than bricks...what's your trick?

Jerome - the recipe is linked in this post. And as far as your hard-as-a-brick bread, either you are over-kneading or your yeast isn't working right!

i made bread last night, and nearly went to bed, forgetting to bake it. that's two batches in a row that i've let rise for more than 2 hours. i need one of those computer home managers to just do it for me.

I'm sure I'm doing something wrong. I've left it longer than 3 hours without it ever rising.

I'll try again.

What's your recipe? What yeast do you recommend? Warm water and yeast right?

Thanks! I'll try the stromboli this weekend.

Okay...watching Arrested Development is DEFINITELY NOT a waste of time. It is GENIUS!! I think that the majority of our nation is stupid...hence why that show was taken off the air. It is my absolute favorite!!
