Husband and I often have discussions about whose turn it is to make dinner (the correct answer is that it is ALWAYS his turn). When it's my turn, I drag my feet and it is a thoroughly unpleasant experience. However, when Husband gets in the kitchen, I can hardly keep myself away.
There are many reasons behind this. #1 I like to be next to Husband. #2 When he's in there, it magically turns fun (I've always hated working alone). #3 I HAVE TO HELP.
Having grown up on a ranch, there was never a time where you just get to sit back and watch while everyone else works. If they were working, so were you. The more I sit, the guiltier I feel.
Husband thinks it's funny but I can't help it. It's ingrained.

At least you are in there helping and not bossing him around. It could always be worse, right?
Ummm...so I might be a LITTLE guilty of bossing. I mean, it depends on what you consider bossing, but I do "suggest" what I think would be the best kitchen tool to use.
