Ahhhh....Sweet Release

Husband and I met with the second counselor in the bishopric last night. He didn't waste any time, just got down to business (which I really appreciated), released both of us from our current callings and gave us new ones. What does that mean? NO MORE NURSERY! Just like that! FINISHED!

And what else does it mean? Both Husband and I have been called to the Sunday School - him as the teacher for the adults (a calling that he had in the single's branch for five years or so) and me with the 12-13 year olds. I'm just hoping that the 12-13 year olds aren't worse than the 1-2 year olds!

they are at a great age because they aren't trying to impress each other yet. They just hit each other and get the flirting over with. Congrats on the chance to make new friends in Relief Society!

Erin, does this mean that I can't count on you to be watching my sweet, darling daughter in nursery anymore? That sucks! I am officially withdrawing Gabi from nursery and placing her in the 12-13 year old class. And, if the bishopric has a problem with it, then I'll get offended and never come back to church.

Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying. However, if all the kids were like yours, I wouldn't have any problem staying in there forever. The good news is that now they have to call someone new for the nursery! I know how you've coveted the calling...

I already told you that I would say NO. Hell to the no, to be exact. Anyways, I've already gotten a calling... :(
