- Being a Mormon is hard. I have been given four women to visit every month. My companion is a student who is working part time and I am a non-student who works sometimes until 7:00 pm. This means that we have to go either before 8:00 am or after 8:00 pm. Monday night and last night, we visited two women each night. I didn't get home on Monday until 11 pm and last night until 9 pm. I think I have a visiting teaching hangover. I haven't been this tired in a long time.
- My visiting teaching companion is 19-years-old and is recently married (yeah, I know! She's only had a driver license for two-and-a-half years). The other day while we were out visiting teaching, she told someone that she was scared to come to college in Beaumont because she didn't know if she would have a social life, i.e, "be able to get married". Say what? You were thinking about that when you were in high school/before you decided where you were going to go to college?? I don't know that I've EVER thought like that. I just don't get it.
- I have a job interview tomorrow at the college. It's for the same job that I interviewed for last February. I'm praying, praying, praying that I will get it because there are SOOO many perks to having a job at the college. I've painted my nails and have already chosen my outfit. Hopefully my boss will give me a little time off to go to the interview! I am finished being a bookkeeper. I'm horrible at it.
- I still can't figure out the weather here. On Sunday it was 50 degrees with cold, cold rain. I whipped out my fashion boots (and we all know how much I love to wear my fashion boots). Today the high was nearly 75 degrees. How can I wear my plethora of cold weather clothing when it's November and still feels like early September??
- I want to decorate for Christmas but I don't know how. I don't have anywhere to put a tree and I only own ONE Christmas decoration (which I already put out). I would much rather spend money on presents than decorations.

My Visiting teaching advice, Send them a nice little note for the next two months. the manditory visit time has been reduced to once every three months. WOW!!! ha ha ha. I was such a horrible visiting teacher to you, but I still love ya does that count. Any who, greetings from the North side of Japan. Love your blog. I just started our's and have no idea what the hell I am doing or how to add stuff. Glad you met Husband - are they not just so much fun!!!
I would totally send notes to everyone all the time if I didn't have a partner who is SOOO excited about visiting ALL THE TIME.
