I don't even like McDonald's food (except chicken McNuggets when I have a craving). However, I have eaten there three times in the past week for one reason and one reason only: MCDONALD'S MONOPOLY. Now, Thanet has already told me that my chances of winning are zero to none, but I am obsessed with it.
I am one game piece away from both $10,000 and $25,000 and I'm just sure that the next Big Mac is going to have it. The only problem with it is that by the time I ever get that final piece, I am going to have gained ten pounds. In fact, I think that the slogan for the McDonald's monopoly game is, "Give me $25,000 AND SUPER SIZE ME!"
Perhaps I will use the $25,000 that I win to get a tummy tuck (Thanet doesn't get a dime because she doesn't believe I can win. She also refused to take me to McDonald's and buy food for herself so I could get more game pieces. I thought she was my friend but apparently, our friendship does not include McDonald's OR monopoly).

Did you see the movie "Supersize Me"? Don't you know how bad that food is for you and that the Monopoly game is only to make you eat their food more! Come on Erin, I thought you were smarter than that!

It's amazing how these trying situations show us who are REAL friends are.
That's right! And I would totally dump Thanet except she's the only friend I've got down here. Oh, and I also like having her as a friend.
