I'm happy to inform one and all that they've found the oldest melon with flesh still on the rind! How lucky! The melon was found in Japan and is thought to be 2,100 years old. Previously the honor of the oldest melon apparently belonged to China.
The most ironic thing about this?? Japanese people can't even SAY "melon".
The funniest thing about this?? EVERYTHING.
