Hold On ONE Second

Last night I was flipping through the channels when I found a new show on ABC called, "The Ex-Wives Club". Basically what they do is take applications from people who have recently gotten divorced and are having a really hard time. They give them a makeover and some sort of counseling or something.

However, the thing that really got my attention is that one of the hosts of the show is Shar Jackson. That's right, the same Shar Jackson who bore Kevin Federline's children before he dumped her to marry Brittany Spears while she was STILL pregnant with his child. Ummm...ok.

There are several things that are wrong with this. #1 Shar Jackson is not an ex-wife. She is an ex-girlfriend who had Kevin Federline's two children out of wedlock - which leads to the question, HOW STUPID IS SHE? If I'm dating a man who is 25, has no particular commitment to stay with me, and STILL thinks that he can make it as a white-gansta-rappa, I AM GOING TO BE ON BIRTH CONTROL (as we have learned, Kevin Federline is apparently VERY fertile as he fathered not only Shar Jackson's two children, but Brittany Spears' two children all in the period of four years and two months...now I'm no expert, but that's a lot of babies in a VERY short period of time).

#2 Shar Jackson has no apparent credentials to be on the ex-wives show. She doesn't have a college degree in counseling of any kind, has no experience in counseling, and can't really talk to anyone about how to have a successful relationship as she, herself, has never had one (although she does have two other kids by another man, who also was never her husband). As far as I can tell, her only talent is the fact that she just got a tummy tuck and a boob job, compliments of Mr. Federline - in the form of child support.

#3 The only thing she actually does on the show is to sit around and say, "Mmmmm....girl...I know whachu talkin' 'bout."

Now, I know that I shouldn't judge Ms. Jackson. I know that I shouldn't be critical of her lifestyle or anything that she has done in the past. Ms. Jackson has done a masterful job of relaying these faults into lucrative deals for herself.

My only problem with the situation is that she is getting paid to be on TV because of her stupidities and I AM NOT. Guess I've never done anything that stupid....YET (although you can bet I'm going to try as long as America rewards stupidity with TV contracts).
