I've been looking for an area rug to cover up our gross carpet ever since I moved here. I bought this one yesterday after only a few minutes of deliberation. In the store, the green squares looked tan. I'm not exactly sure what I think about it. I tried to take a picture that would exclude the pile of laundry on the chair... And here is the picture on the wall that I think doesn't go with the rug. This is the problem. Stupid home decor.

I think it all looks very nice! Very put together! What is this nonsense about not having an eye for these things?
It was very put together...up until this morning. Husband is off today and he always messes up my nice, clean house. He may have to be put in solitary confinement.
Or clean-up duty. That's even better.
I've already tried cleam-up duty and that doesn't work. Perhaps I shall withhold his daily pudding snack.
I LOVE your house. I think it is very relaxing and a place where I want to be. I can just imagine myself eating heaps of ice cream while watching some awesome movie like Trekkies or the Grudge. Good job. I wish I lived somewhere where things matched and didn't reak of years of college student use.
Well, Tomlin, (and other blog readers), as luck would have it, we have an extra bed and I am willing to share my ice cream...Husband would be thrilled to have someone watch the Lord of the Ring trilogy AGAIN (or the Star Wars movies, which I got him for his birthday).
Plus, he wants to set you up with one of his friends...Then you can live right next door and have the same apartment as me...and probably the same furniture, too.
