Someone at work invited husband to play xBox Madden football at his house tonight. He came home for lunch and said that he thought I should go along. Yeah, that's exactly what I want to do with the remainder of my weekend...watch you and a man that I've never met play pretend football. And while you are doing that, I would have to try to make hours of awkward conversation with the man's wife, whom I've never met (while both men are glued to the TV and therefore, incapable of making any type of intelligible conversation).
What makes you think I would enjoy that? While I appreciate husband's efforts to help me get out and make friends, I would rather avoid weird situations wherein I'm forced to pretend to be something I'm not and or/forced to watch more xBox football than I already have.
