Since Nick has been so great and supportive of my "fixing up" the house, I thought it would be nice to get him something that he wanted for Christmas. Naturally, an xBox 360 was at the top of his list. I was very hesitant to buy one for two reasons only: #1 because if he has the opportunity to play games, chances are good that he won't pay attention to me and #2 because I HATE GAMES.
After much research and some helpful sales associates at Best Buy, I picked up the gaming system and brought it home. Nick played a little bit on Christmas Eve (yes, we opened our presents early) and a little on the next day. And, he may have played more had I not found that the xBox came with a game similar to Tetris. I thought I'd play a little bit just so Nick would see that the system doesn't bother me and that I want him to keep it.
And what happened? Nick literally has had to wrestle the controller out of my hand on one occasion. I played for five hours straight on the day after Christmas while Nick was at work. I currently hold the top three scores. I can't help it. Even though it goes against everything I've ever believed in, I'm addicted.
