My Friend, Jose Cuervo

For all of you that read the title of this and thought, "Oh, yes, Jose Cuervo...a friend to many", I am here to tell you that these Jose Cuervo is NOT YOUR FRIEND, she is MINE.

Jose Cuervo is a coyote who lives in our lower field. Yesterday I saw her (or maybe it was one of her decendants since I am sure that the original Jose Cuervo was disposed of years ago...but who really cares whether or not it's the original one as all coyotes look pretty much alike). Anyway, she came running out of the brush to run along side the tractor to catch all of the mice that run frantically out from under the windrows as the hay is feeding into the baler. When you're all alone out in the middle of no where, it's nice to know that there is something around to keep you safe from all the killer mice.

No, on the contrary, pet, you picked right up on it! Jose Cuervo is a Mexican tequila. There is a song that goes, "Jose Cuervo, you are a friend a mine...". Naturally, I don't know the rest of the song. However, it seems to go well with Jose Cuervo, the coyote as he/she is currently my only friend.
