I've Missed It

This past week I turned around and found that I've apparently missed fall in southeast Texas.

I don't remember the leaves turning.

Like at all.

But they did.

And they fell off the trees.

I didn't notice that either.

The trees are naked.

And I missed it.

Such a shame because fall is my very favorite time of the year and now I have to wait an entire year for it to come again.

Luckily, there are leaves left on the ground to satiate my need to document the passing of the season.
