Happy Father's Day

This is what the nursery leaders made for the kids to give to their fathers.

Cute, isn't it?

I'm so thankful for Husband and for the great father he is.

And how hard he works for our little family.

And for how much he makes me laugh and keeps me level.

At the same time, I miss my own dad so much I can barely breathe.

My throat closes up, the tears come, and I feel like I'm going to choke on all that sadness.

When other people talk about their dads, I kind of want to punch them in the throat and scream about how unfair it is.

Because I'm super charitable like that.
