1. Being in a large group of women makes me very, very uncomfortable.
2. Lateness drives me absolutely insane.
3. I need space. I crave space.
4. I cringe every time a girl I don't know walks up to me and says, "So, you're Nick Peters' wife, right?" Mostly because every, single Mormon female from this area who is five years older or ten years younger than me was teased mercilessly at Husband's hand before we got married.

This Saturday, I went to a baby shower for my friend, Holli.
I don't generally go to baby showers.
Mostly because I am highly influenced by emotional events like that.
I sat there for two hours and wanted a new baby.
Like I'd never, ever wanted anything more.
I got over it as soon as I got in the car to drive home, but for those two hours....
Sigh.

The shower was held in a home out in Vidor.
Like a real, grown up house.
I lusted.

Not sure what it says about you, but it would be the exact same thing said about me. Minus the knowing Nick part, since I've never met him. I covet other people's washers and dryers IN THEIR HOUSE! Hate when people are late. (Do they not realize it's rude?) Have only been to RS once in the past 6 months because I can't handle it right now and yes, it's a personal issue that I don't feel like working on. Maybe I'm a horrible person but, dang it, I'm not perfect and if there's Thai food somewhere in the next life, than that's where I want to go.
