Evaluation

1.  I have officially hit the halfway mark of the Couch to 5K program.  That basically makes me an expert.  and my expert opinion is that the Couch to 5K Program is a valid form of torture.

2.  That being said, I totally finished Week 5 Day 2 this morning.  It wasn't pretty, but I did it.

3.  Who knew that I would ever consider running for eight minutes straight a major accomplishment.  It's kind of embarrassing.

4.  The good news is that today, instead of being the passee, I was the passer.

5.  Of course, the people I was passing were walking.  Pretty slowly.  But I pretended they weren't.

6.  And, had I had an extra breath and also not felt like I was going to blow major chunks, I totally would have yelled, "See ya later, SUCKAS!" when I passed them.

7.  When I finished my second and final run, I threw my hands in the air and shouted, "I DID IT!"  I'm pretty sure the men doing the grass weren't as impressed with me as I was with myself.

8.  During my inaugural post-run booty shaking session, I was told by a fellow C25Ker that my dance "sho do look good".  Thank you, ma'am.  But I already knew that.

9.  I am dreading the next running session because I'm supposed to run for 20 minutes straight.  I seriously almost died on the second 8 minutes of today.

10.  While running, I looked over and observed my shadow.  The first thing that popped into my head was, "What's a chubby girl like that doing trying to run?!"  Then I realized that if Kim Kardashian can pretend to have a brain, I can pretend to run.

*This post marks my 1,500 post on this blog.  That's like more pages than in the US Tax Code book.

**  An extra special thanks to all of you who have been clicking on the ads on the side of my blog!  I made $10 yesterday thanks to you.  Keep on with the clicking, please!  If I make enough money, I may decide to buy something and do a sweet giveaway for all of my readers.  No, wait, that's a lie.  I'm totally going to use it to pay medical bills.  Which is just as exciting for all of you.  Really.

Erin! I love your blog although I seldom comment and I just want you to know that we don't need gifts! Just pay off those rotten medical bills!
Your attitude and faith are inspiring! You often make me laugh and cry at the same time!

How do you get paid for the ads?

I use AdSense with Google. Once you get over $100, they send you a check. At least I think that's how it works...I just started using it last week :)
