I'm sure that clapping her hands is something Carolyn was supposed to have mastered months ago.
But, she's doesn't believe in following anyone else's schedule.
She just learned how tonight.
And she's pretty darn proud of herself.
Please disregard the fact that she's not wearing a shirt.
And also the fact that she's wearing shorts that are two sizes too big...they were the only ones I could find this morning before we left.

Kings does everything in his own time too... Laying on his belly and picking his head up during tummy time? Like 4 months. Rolling over from back to front: 5 1/2 months. Sleeping through the night: never. Sitting up? Not yet. Teeth? Nope. Babbling? Does yelling count? Burping? Like 2 months old before he did it... and then it was like 30 minutes of back whacking...
Whenever I google baby developmental milestones I take them with a HUGE grain of salt. Especially when you talk to a doctor and they are like "Oh, those milestones have a margin of error of months."
In my head all I can think is: You don't freaking say...
Don't you just love when they do something new? They just melt your heart.
