1. Last night I got a cramp in my shoulder complex. I have no idea what that means, but let's just say that it's right behind the tip of my shoulder blade and good grief, raising my arm hurts like hell. And guess who else had a sweet muscle spasm last night? Husband. In his low back. So we're both laid up today and we're letting Carolyn get away with murder. Awesome.
2. In celebration of being laid up, I'm hoping to use the six cups of soon-to-be-expired cream in the fridge. The only thing on my mind is mom's fudge. Except I found out that mom's fudge uses exactly zero cups of cream. Looks like I'll have to make something else on top of mom's fudge.
3. We're watching the CNN coverage of the death of Osama Bin Laddin. The stupidest line I've heard so far is, "We know he has at least two sons who've chosen to go into their father's line of work." Like he owns a tire store or something.
4. The air is so thick today, you could practically eat it. Blech.
5. Maybe I'll make some bread today too. My life is so exciting.

Does cream freeze? Buttermilk does...I freeze it in 1 Cup portions for syrup. :)
If I lived closer I could put your cream down Josh's tube.
Oh, and Osama was such a wuss--using one of his wives for a human shield!!!
How about whipping it up with some sugar and some mascarpone cheese and putting it on some freshly picked strawberries from L&D's strawberry patch up in Spurger? Yum. Or maybe some kind of chowder should be on the menu for dinner (seafood, clam, ham/potato/cheese, sausage&potato, etc). Can you tell it's lunchtime around here? Gotta go!
