1. It would be a huge understatement to say that Carolyn is curious. A busy body. A nosey Rosey. She constantly has to be moving. If something gets in her way or she gets stuck and is unable to get to something she wants, she screams. When we're at home, I usually just let her roam wherever she wants whenever she wants. You know, unless she's in danger. So, I have a really hard time "controlling" her when we're at church. I don't know how far to let her go, who will be bothered by her and who won't, and what exactly is appropriate. If I try to keep her on my lap, she arches her back, squeals, and kicks my stomach. I'd rather just let her go. Don't get me wrong, I keep my eye on her all the time, it's not like I'm just letting her run wild, letting other people watch her for me. What do I do?
2. I have an obsession with laminating things. A couple of weeks ago, a lady from church said she had a small laminating machine she was looking to get rid of. Today I picked it up. I honestly have no idea what I'm going to do with it, but I'm so excited, I think I might pee my pants.
3. There's this phenomenon at church. There's Husband and me - The Peters Fam. Then, there's the Petersen Fam(s) - Shannon and Marshall, Holli and Kyle, and Maren and Ryan. No one at church can differentiate between the Peters and the Petersens. They don't know who's married to who or whose kids belong to whom. I have full conversations with people where I have absolutely no idea what they're talking about. Then, I mention it to one of the Petersen clan and they say, "Oh, yeah, they thought you were me." The funniest thing is that none of us look anything alike. The very worst mistake was one time when someone asked me how my father was doing. I said, "Oh, my father passed away last year." Tears sprung to their eyes as they exclaimed, "President Petersen (the stake president) passed away?! I hadn't heard anything about it!"
4. Carolyn is starting to lose interest in her morning nap. So, instead of napping, she just spends the morning whining. Then, she takes a really long afternoon nap. Then, she wakes up and continues to whine. I don't get it.
5. I finally harvested some of my basil from my plants. I have a big bag of it and really no idea what I'm going to do with all of it. Plus, I waited too long to harvest and now my plants are kind of long and spindly. Do I chop the top of the plants off and make them short and squat again or do I just leave them alone?
6. Much to Carolyn's delight, Husband takes off his dirty socks and leaves them on the floor in the living room. Carolyn stuffs them in her mouth and carries them around like a dog.
7. I'm in a social funk. I'm generally a very, extremely social person but over the past two weeks or so, I've kind of withdrawn. I get into social situations and I don't know how to handle myself, what to do or say, or really any idea of the mood of the room I'm in.
8. The massage business picked up a little last week - I did six massages on Saturday. It was about one too many. I'm almost totally set up for hot stone massages as well. Hopefully my stones will arrive by Friday. I thought it would be earlier but there was a big storm wherever the person is that I ordered them from and the mail out there hasn't been running.
9. I finally ordered a new pair of Teva flipflops. I ordered the same size I always do. So, please explain to me why they are about half a size too small. If it has to do with my feet widening during pregnancy, I'm going to be really mad.
10. Guess what kind of coupon I found yesterday?! One for $1 off Nutella! Now there's a coupon I can really get behind!

I have a chicken pomodoro recipe that I'll send you--it uses basil and is a lot better than the Olive garden version!
You might want to check out the Ahnu shoe brand at www.ahnu.com. They're similar to Teva and are owned by the same parent company. I have 2 pairs of Ahnu's a I love'em!!!
