This is My Life

1.  I didn't have a single massage on Saturday.  It was a total bust.

2.  Instead of massaging, I bought myself a pedicure.  I remembered right during the middle of it that I don't really like the clipping, trimming, and filing.  Mostly I just want the rubbing, washing, and painting.

3.  While getting the pedicure, I sat next to a beautiful pregnant woman.  I've seen lots of beautiful pregnant women lately.  It makes me wonder why I was not a beautiful pregnant woman.  Mostly I just looked (and felt) sick and tired.

4.  Someone called and scheduled a hot stone massage with me for next week.  This is a problem.  Mostly because I don't own hot stones.  Nor have I ever taken a class in hot stone.

5.  So, in order to learn how to give a hot stone massage, I had to go get one.  It was wonderfully relaxing.  However, it didn't get rid of my muscle soreness and I kind of felt like the price was a rip off.  I'd much rather have two one hour relaxation massages than one hot stone massage.  The great news is that because it's continuing education for me, it's totally tax deductible.

6.  I've made a triumphant return to The Doctor's Office.  They're running shorthanded so I'm filling in when Husband is able to watch Carolyn.  It's kind of a surreal experience going back - it's been a little over a year and a half and I feel like a completely different person than when I worked there before.  The office, however, hasn't changed a bit. The very best thing about it is that my very favorite patient of all time was scheduled to come in today.  I've really missed not seeing him and his wife.

7.  Husband has begun insisting that we call one another by new nicknames.  He wants me to call him Stallion.  And he thinks my name should be Mistress Sassy Britches.

8.  Ever since I've started "running" again, my c-section scar has started hurting.  It gets really, really tender.  Any ideas why or what I can do about it?

9.  I just watched the first Dancing With the Stars of this season.  The only thing I said during the show was, "Who's that girl?  Who's that dude?  Who's that guy?"  Seriously.  Scraping the bottom of the barrel.

10.  I read an article in the Deseret News that says that both BYU and Florida want to win the game on Thursday.  Uh...no way!  Ground breaking journalism, that is.

I don't have any suggestions on the running. I was still feeling a pull in my scar while doing lower ab work nine months later. Please pass on any information you get. I may need help this time around. I have a doctor appointment on Monday. If I remember I'll ask him for some advice.
