I've been thinking of new ways to save money.
Because really, my life is all about money.
I've been shopping around for the best deals on baby food and formula and thought I should probably check - wait for it - Walmart.
I didn't want to.
Mostly because I would give up a few dollars in savings if I never had to set foot in Walmart.
But, I figured that if I went on a Wednesday afternoon, it wouldn't be that bad, right?
Wrong.
Double wrong.
I feel dirty just parking in the Beaumont Walmart parking lot.
Because Beaumont Walmart is GA-ROW-S.
Wait, what?
I've written about this before?
Seventeen times?
I feel like I have to constantly be on high alert.
I have a death grip on my purse.
I contemplate getting a switch blade and wish I carried pepper spray.
I think about what I'd do if someone tried to rob me.
Naturally, I'd karate chop their neck.
And then roundhouse their crotch.
And other stuff, too.
Anyway...
It totally wasn't worth the trip.
Or the anxiety.
The prices are the same at HEB.
And it's a lot less ghetto.

Hilarious about the saddest and happiest cities! Love that Provo is the 4th happiest...probably because everyone is on Prozac there and can't help it. I did read somewhere that Beaumont/Port Arthur is the best place to drive in the nation so that's something right?!? :)
How strange! Not only did Beaumont make the list but Spartanburg, SC did too. That is just 40 min north of me! I wonder how they determined this ranking...
Wal Mart totally carries switchblades. ;)
That explains SOOO much!
