1. Husband likes the WWE. Sometimes, when there's nothing else on, that's what we watch. I, for one, think fake wrestling (no, baby, it's real) is totally lame, but sometimes the show is more than hysterical. And watching Husband watch it is even better. Last night, The New Nexus was talking to some hulking wrestler and they came up with this beauty, "If you kick Husky Harris in the skull right now, there will be serious consequences and repercussions." You'll never guess what the wrestler did next. Yeah, he totally defied the Nexus, kicked Husky Harris in the head and made a run for it.
2. Following the Husky Harris incident, there were some trashy women standing in the ring sneering at one another. And again, you'll never guess what happened. They started to fight. In their evening gowns and spike-heeled boots and everything. Husband sits up and yells, "CAT FIGHT! RAAAWWWRRR (while making clawing motions with his hand)!"
3. I pray and pray every night that Carolyn will sleep through the night. For two reasons:
a. When she's up several times, I'm really tired the next day.
b. Every single time I come back from soothing her, I have to fight with Husband to get my pillow back. He's a certified Pillow Leech.
4. I am horrible at baby wardrobe management. Last week, I dutifully whipped out all of our 6-9 month clothes and washed them. What I really should have done was take them back and exchange them for the next bigger size. Carolyn won't even be able to wear each onesie once before she grows out of them - and that's even with her going through 3 outfits a day.
5. Blogger poll: For my massage room should I go with an Asian theme (including the wall scrolls I bought in China) or should I stick with a blue/green theme? I'm leaning toward the blue/green because blue is supposed to be soothing.
6. We went to Barnes and Noble yesterday and for the first time in my life, I walked out without buying anything. When Husband asked why, I was shocked when my answer was, "Oh, I'm just not in the mood." There's something seriously wrong with me.
7. Carolyn started to army belly crawl on Sunday. I got all excited because now everything is going to have to be picked up off the floor - and believe me, in our house, that's no small feat. However, she seems to have regressed since then, because all day yesterday when she'd start to scoot, she'd just flop over onto her back and start wailing. Apparently she's not willing to give up her free ride in mom and dad's arms.
8. Carolyn still believes that anything and everything belongs in her mouth. Yesterday, when I wasn't paying attention, she lunged forward and started sucking on my lip. It was so slobbery, it grossed me out a little.
9. Husband was meant to be a stay-at-home-mom. Mostly because he honestly enjoys trashy daytime television. Last week when I walked in the door he pulled me aside and said, "Baby! Have you ever seen Cheaters?? It's like Cops except they catch people cheating on one another! It's awesome!"
10. We've been lucky enough to get to see the last two BYU games on TV. The first one was highly satisfactory. The second not so much. I, just like the rest of the Cougar Nation, love Jimmer Fredette, but, Dave Rose is seriously going to have to come up with some off-the-bench scoring if they're going to continue to win. Good thing I'm here to offer him such good advice.

Our husbands would definitely get along.
Totally off subject, but have I ever told you that my husband works at EA and can get you games for $20? Just thought I'd let you know since you've written about some of their games before.
Beckster! I can't tell you how happy Husband was when I read him this comment. He might be more happy about your husband working for EA than he was about the birth of our child. He says he will be hitting your husband up in July when the new NCAA football comes out. He also wants to throw out some suggestions on how to make NCAA football better. And he says he and your husband are now good friends. How on earth did your husband get a job like that?? And are they hiring?? Do they want to hire Husband in research and development??
I can't stand to watch wrestling because of how FAKE it is! Blech.
Green is supposed to be a calming color as well. I vote blue and green.
