She wore it to church today.
Along with a giant flower on her head.
Before we left for church, Husband pointed out that I had become one of those mothers I'd always made fun of - mostly because I wanted her to have a pink paci because the yellow one didn't match.
I'd planned on taking pictures when we got home, but by that time, the cardigan was covered in puke.
So, we just took pictures of the dress.
At least I thought I did until I downloaded the pictures only to find I'd had my camera in black-and-white mode.
BAM!
I'm awesome.
Assessment: FAIL.
Well, the baby's still cute (and slobbery):
Oh, and this has nothing to do with the dress, but one of Husband's good friends from school has a baby who is about Carolyn's size...and five months older.
Today we put them down next to one another in the church hallway.
The friend kept warning me that his girl might hurt Carolyn.
I told him that I wasn't worried about my baby, he should worry about his.
Sure enough, not two minutes later, in an effort to find something to pull up on, Carolyn had lopped over on top of his girl in what appeared, for all intents and purposes, to be a perfect form tackle.
No, sir, I don't worry about Carolyn, but other babies, beware.
Bless her heart.
She'll never have an opportunity to be that cute, little, petite girl...she'll always be ready to rough someone up.

What beautiful big eyes! You've got one adorable baby girl!
Don't worry...my daughter is almost 9 months and is the size I was at 18 months old! FIGURES!
