Trying to Recreate

I saw a beautiful baby picture on The Pioneer Woman's website compliments of photographer, Kerrianne Brown.  It was this little boy in an elephant hat.  Can it get cuter than that?

I read all about the camera settings she'd used to get the picture and I figured I'd do my best to recreate it at my home.

The only problems:

1.  There are no places in my apartment that get good, natural light.
2.  I don't have any extra, specialized lenses for my camera.
3.  I don't have an elephant hat.
4.  I don't have access to photoshop.
5.  The shadows had gotten a little long by the time Baby woke up from her nap.
6.  Baby didn't actually want her picture taken and a scream fest ensued (quelled by a paci).

But, I do have the world's cutest baby*, so I forged ahead.
