More news from our extra exciting life:
1. I switched Carolyn to a generic brand formula that, on inspection, seemed to be exactly the same as Similac. It was then that she started her screaming in pain deal. I put her back on Similac yesterday and all is right in the world again. So, I ask, what is the difference when they seemed to be the same thing??
2. After a full week of being sick, including massive eye boogers, I am finally feeling a bit better today. At least my head doesn't feel like it's going to explode anymore.
3. Because of me being sick, my running program plan has gone straight down the drain. I'm hoping to pick it back up next week.
4. I'm taking Carolyn out of daycare. I haven't really told her daycare provider yet. But I haven't taken her there in three days...I guess I'm going to have to bite the bullet tomorrow and tell them.
5. I'm off until January 3rd. I've loved being home with Carolyn. Even if she's cranky. Plus, it's soooo nice to be able to take a nap later in the day when she wakes up at 5am. We're working on putting her down for naps in her crib. It's going pretty well except she wakes up every time after 30-45 mintues. If you go in and pat her back, she'll go back to sleep for another hour or so.
6. Carolyn is now rolling back and forth like a pro. The other day, I put her on the floor and walked into the kitchen for a couple of minutes. When I came back, she'd rolled from the couch to the edge of the carpet - about six feet away. She wants to be fully mobile so badly - you can see the frustration in her face.
7. Carolyn is not really interested in learning to sit up. She just wants to stand. I hold her hands and try to get her to sit and she whines till I pull her all the way up.
8. I tried to hit the post-Christmas sales and found them extremely disappointing. I didn't find a good sale at any of the stores I went to. What did I do wrong? It probably didn't help anything that I felt horrible.
9. Our couch is now covered in spit up stains. It's awesome.

Just make sure you let your day care know you are taking Carolyn out. My daughter was laid off a few years ago and received no severance pay from her job, but had to pay daycare for 2 weeks - they apparently need 2 weeks notice...
