More Stuff You Never Wanted to Know

1.  There are several things I wanted to be when I grew up.  A teacher.  A physical therapist.  A smarty-pants.  Unfortunately, I wussed out of all of them (except the smarty-pants one) because I went to BYU and I didn't think I was smart enough to pass the math and science classes I would need to graduate.  And because I didn't even try, I appears I've been relegated to being a secretary for the rest of my life despite the fact that I have a college degree.  I mean, it's ok because I'm a really, really good secretary, but it sure isn't very fulfilling.

2.  I just found out about pandora.com today, compliments of a girl from church.  I've already made my own station.  I accidentally put Ricky Martin on my station and now I'm getting all of these Spanish pop songs.  And Ricky Martin singing in English.  Um, Ricky, sweetie, let's stick to the Spanish, mmmkay?

3.  Along with the songs on Pandora come the full lyrics to all of the songs.  I KNOW!  I can totally sing along!  The people I work with could not be more thrilled.

4.  My phone, which used to send pictures via email just fine, has decided it is no longer going to cooperate.  It says my account settings are wrong.  Techies - what am I doing wrong?

5.  Dear Men at my Office - Stop using the women's bathroom.  I don't care how far away the men's bathroom is or how many other men-who-pee-on-the-floor-because-they-can't-aim you have to share it with.  The little figure in the dress on the sign on the door?  That stands for No Grody Men.

6.  Puffs Plus Kleenex were made especially for me.

7.  If everyone else leaves the office early on Fridays, doesn't that mean that I should be allowed to leave, too?  I think so!

8.  I took Carolyn to the Baptist clinic in HEB last night.  Mostly because I have no time off where I can take her to her actual pediatrician.  The Nurse Practitioner put her on Zantac.  Please let that curb her spit-up problems.

9.  And speaking of Carolyn, she's a big faker.  I put her on her stomach this morning and she held herself up for five full minutes and almost rolled over.  Then she started to scream and flopped down on her face.

10.  I just love to see big talkers wimp out.  I work with one of those.  A big talker.  He's always talking tough, but in reality, he's just a big coward.

Bonus:  11.  I wore my BYU sweatshirt today (hooray for a 50 degree morning!), knowing something good was going to happen. I ended up having lunch with two girls from church.  Score one for the lucky sweatshirt!!
