Does anyone know where I can purchase a bargain basement priced break?
Because I can't seem to catch one, so I figure I'm going to have to buy one.
It is Wednesday - Grandma Neff said Wednesday is the only day you're allowed to complain. Or maybe she said Thursday. I guess to cover my bases, I'll complain tomorrow, too.
I know I live an enchanted life and my concerns are trivial, but this past year has really been hard on me.
It doesn't seem like it's going to let up, either.
I go back to work one week from today.
I pretty much put all of my eggs in one basket in regards to child care. I thought I had it all set up. But, I've left three messages with the lady in the past five days and have yet to hear anything back. If she doesn't want to do it anymore, that's fine, I just need to know ASAP so I can make other arrangements.
On top of that, I mentioned yesterday that I'd hurt my back. I have no idea what I did. I can barely care for Carolyn. Picking her up is excruciating. Getting up and sitting down requires fancy maneuvering. Changing her diaper is nearly impossible. Granted, I'm a wimp of the highest order, but still. I know it's horrible, but I'm very grateful she's kind of groggy from her shots yesterday and is lower maintenance than usual.
On days like this, there should be a switch to turn off motherhood.

Oh goodness, I am so sorry! I suggest a comfortable chair in front of the TV, remote in hand and a heating pad on the back for the day. Good luck! Sure wish I could be there to help you out! I'm sending prayers your way.
PS--Advil and Tylenol too.
make a bed buddy....rice in a sock heated in the microwave. do you need me to come help?
It sounds like you pulled a muscle. Get some Tiger Balm at the pharmacy and have Husband rub it into the most painful area. It should help. If it doesn't, you may need to go to the doctor. Back pain is quite tricky and you don't want to wait too long to find out if there is serious damage. Or get someone to give you a massage...
