1. Carolyn has had two champion days in a row. Only about three hours of crying (and crying every time I try to get on the phone), two naps, and being surprisingly pleasant after eating for at least one hour. It sure is easy to love her when she's like this.
2. And speaking of Carolyn, she is also getting to be a great night sleeper. She's been consistently giving me seven hour stretches. She's also getting better and better at putting herself to sleep when I put her in the crib - if she's sleepy. If she's not, she screams bloody murder.
3. Oh, and she's just fallen asleep on her own in the swing. How strange. She's never done that before.
4. When do I start giving her more food? I've been feeding her four ounces about every three hours for the past couple of weeks, but Monday and yesterday, she's acted like she's starving after two hours. Should I just feed her every two hours or should I give her an extra ounce every three?
5. Is there some kind of hormone that releases after you give birth that makes your voice crack? I've never had a stellar singing voice, but at least I could carry a tune. On Sunday, my voice cracked at least 43 times. I feel like a pre-pubescent boy.
6. Our TV really is broken. It will only turn on about one out of ten times. And only in the afternoon.
7. Someone gave us a "travel system" - one of those strollers you can just clip your car seat into. Unfortunately, I can't really figure out how to do it. A little help, please.
8. I remember the days when I shaved my legs regularly. And brushed my hair every day. That was awesome.
9. I wonder why they even bother to have an international basketball tournament. I've been keeping up with team USA and it just doesn't seem fair. I mean, when you're winning every game by 40 points or more, why play at all? Maybe they should just dub America the champion right from the beginning and everyone else can just play for second place. That's basically what they're doing anyway.
10. Carolyn is now screaming because she can't get her fist in her mouth and keep it there for a prolonged period of time due to arm flailing. When does that muscle control come? Please tell me it's soon!

YEAH!!! I am so happy for you that things are starting to improve (knock on wood)! It was only a matter of time, but those miserable times seem to last FOREVER!! So way to stick it out!
I would give her an extra ounce and see if she will take it. You said she is growing so she probably is wanting more. If she doesn't take it, then you will know she doesn't need it and is just being a stinker. When my babies did that I would feed them at 2.5 hrs and readjust the schedule for the day. And if she is inconsolable at 2 hrs. try to push it of for 10 minutes and then feed her.
After each of my babies were born, I made it my goal to brush my teeth by 4 pm. That was my only goal. I think by 3 months things started settling down, and eventually your's will too.
