Snickers Salad

For those who've been asking for the Snickers Salad recipe - there are a lot of different variations, but this is my favorite one - you can apparently skip the pudding and just use Cool Whip if that's your thing.

1 large tub of Cool Whip

1 large package of vanilla instant pudding

1 cup of milk (for the pudding)

6 Frozen Snickers Bars (crushed...I like to put them in a Ziplock bag and smash them with a hammer...a super easy way to spice up your life and make your neighbors really mad)

3 medium size Granny Smith apples or other tart apple, cut up into small chunks (I get a little wild every now and then and instead of apples, I throw in a can each of pineapple, mandarin oranges, and fruit cocktail.  Or sometimes frozen grapes.  I know.  Don't tell me. I really know how to have a good time.)

In a large bowl, mix the pudding with the milk until smooth and then combine it with the Cool Whip. Add the Snickers and then the apples...or whatever else floats your boat.

My stepmom made something very similar with Andes mints. To die for.
