NEKKED

1.  So.  Yeah.  Yesterday, The Project Manager was over in the art department overseeing some renovations there when he overheard some of the professors discussing a class project they wanted to do.  With nude pregnant women.  Except they apparently couldn't find a pregnant woman who would consent to pose nekked as a jaybird.  He volunteered me.  They called, wanting to know if I was willing.  Um.  Willing?  To take my clothes off in front of 20 people who would study and paint my plethora of stretch marks??  I'm not going to lie, I considered it for .2 seconds because it would be a good story and we all know what I'd do for a good story. Plus, I really am ridiculously good looking. Then I realized that if there were naked drawings of me laying around, I would no longer be able to be the President of the United States, a Supreme Court Justice, or Miss America.  I like to keep all of my options open.

2.  My sister, Nancy, found out yesterday that she's going to have a baby girl in November.  YAY!  Please let us move closer so my baby girl can play with her baby girl.  That's the thing about living so far away - cousins don't get to be with cousins.

3.  I was clicking through blogs yesterday when I found one of a girl who is a current student at BYU.  She had all of these beautiful summer pictures of the BYU campus.  It made me miss my college days.  Then I remembered that I never really was a very good student and therefore, wasn't very good at school.  And I would never want to go back to that time in my life again.  Isn't life funny that way?  I loved BYU when I was there, but I wouldn't want to go back again.  I loved my mission...or, um, I know I was supposed to go on a mission.  But the only way I'd do it again is if I could go back knowing what I know now.  I loved living and teaching in Japan.  I don't know that I would do it again without some big changes.

4.  Hurricane Alex is making it's way to southern Texas/northern Mexico.  We should be getting some of the residual rain here in a couple of hours.  I'm not going to lie, I love that rain.  Maybe it'll rain enough to flood the underpasses and we can all go home!  Because I'm feeling pretty puky and I would rather vomit at home than at work.

5.  I love my clean house:
