1. Friday night we had Brother-and-Sister-in-Law, nephew, and Robert and Laura over for some Thai green curry and crepes. Not together. Because that would be gross. I think the curry turned out well even though I ran out of curry paste before I'd gotten to the curry strength I preferred. Husband didn't eat any because he says green curry is "not in his flavor profile". He also later revealed that when he walked in the house and I was cooking the curry, he had to go check the toilet because it smelled like someone hadn't flushed it. Yes, apparently curry smells differently to different people. Fan-freakin'-tastic.
2. I have to pop into Walmart every once-in-a-while to remember the awesomeness that pervades the universe. And for those of you who don't live near a Walmart or refuse to enter there due to their crappy customer service and rude patrons, remember that you, too, can experience the awesomeness with just a click of your mouse (viewer discretion advised). 3. The Quote of the night on Amazing Race came from the cowboy team, after they'd met the Smallest Man in the World, Ping Ping, in Shanghai, "If he jumped out of your garbage can, he'd scare you to death."
4. I was sick all weekend long - I don't know what on earth it is. It's not severe enough to be a cold, but my head and nose are stuffed up to within an inch of their lives. I didn't sleep. And naturally, being pregnant, I can't take a damn thing to help myself out.
5. Because I was sick, I missed church. For the first time, I was greatly upset being that I think I'd spent at least $20 getting ready for the lesson - laminating cut outs and buying special, bug shaped snacks.
6. Husband spent seven hours yesterday making pulled pork for sandwiches. Despite the smell of vinegar that now permeates our entire house, the meat was delicious.
7. I am addicted to those frozen fudge bar thingys.
8. I think one of my tomato plants is going belly up due to bad pot drainage. My eggplant plant may be next. I'm still babying both of them along, hoping it'll work out.
9. Husband only has two weeks left of the current semester. Then, a month off. Then, we enter the home stretch - the two summer sessions and the fall semester and BAM! Graduation!
10. I can't tell you how excited I am that they put spell check back on blogger.

I feel you on the sick thing. I've had a cold for over a week. It's mostly better, but I have so much snot in my throat!
Safety precaution: Don't look at the Wal-mart pictures when you have to go to the bathroom. I almost lost it just now!
