Happy Stick

The men in my office have been giving me a wide berth since I told them I am pregnant a couple of weeks ago.  I probably should have told them sooner...they'd have left me alone way back in December!

It is my opinion that most men's biggest fear is pregnant women.  They don't understand what's going on in the lady's heads and therefore are never sure whether to approach or hang back.  Heaven forbid the one thing she decides to do is cry.  That really freaks 'em out.

I have not been the most pleasant pregnant woman on the face of the earth.  In fact, I would have to say I'm pretty close to last in that respect.  Maybe second to last, with one extra point because I thought about making all the guys cupcakes last week.  Not that I did.  But I totally thought about it.

My boss, bless his heart, is extra wary of my moods.  On Tuesday I was having an extremely weepy, nausea-filled day.  He was walking three extra feet out of his way so he wouldn't have to make any kind of eye contact with me.

The next day, he showed up with these so, he says, he never has to wonder what mood I'm in again:

Now when he walks in the door, I just hold up the spoon that best describes how I'm feeling.

What a funny man.

Hahahaha I kind of love this....I may start carrying mood sticks around to send that message to everyone. Not enough people pick up on mood cues.
