What's For Dinner

I always love to know what people are eating. Mostly because I like food. And I like to see how everyone else plans their meals. Looking for more deliciousness in a pot? Here's what we've done over the past week:

Baked Chicken Taquitos
This is where I found the original recipe. I'm going to say GO FOR BROKE and spring for the yellow corn tortillas. Also, you can never go wrong with a little guac and some sour cream for dipping...

Yakisoba
There really isn't anything like Japanese fried noodles. Although, admittedly, it's not nearly as good when it's not made by Japanese hands. You can usually find the noodle packets at Walmart or HEB. Just stir fry up some cabbage, green onions, and carrots, add some small cooked chicken or pork bites, and follow the directions for the noodles on the back of the package. OISHII! That's Japanese for delicious. Just in case you didn't know.

Chicken and Sausage Gumbo
This was Husband's project so we only went with the best: Emeril. Husband really enjoys playing with his dutch oven and after we figured out that all we had to do was thin out the roux, it was a perfect end to College Football Saturday.

Creamy Chicken Chili
This recipe is a little different than the one we did - ours called for 1 cup of sour cream and 1/2 cup of whipping cream. It's DELICIOUS. And fast. Two things I like.
